"The truth is that I begin to think that there is an even greater pleasure than seeing Granada. And it is to see her again. Alexandre Dumas."

"Granada the most beautiful sunset in the world. Bill Clinton."

"Granada is the most precious treasure of Spain, a pantry of flavors, smells and passion. Victor Hugo."

"Every curious traveler keeps Granada in his heart, even without having visited it. William Shakespeare."

There are enough references along with the most visited monument in Spain, The Alhambra, to start our experience, spend our first two nights and finish the trip again in this charismatic city where there are.

As for its gastronomy, it is part of the tradition of Arab-Andalusian cuisine, with a strong Arab and Jewish heritage that is reflected in its condiments and spices.

The different climate favors a great variety of raw materials: vegetables, meats, sausages, fish that are combined in a multitude of dishes and recipes of soups and stews.

Monday
Day 2
Route: Granada - Granada > KM: 225

On our first route we will roll through the province of Granada, reaching very close points of the Coast, with spectacular views of the sea, but always between trees and tracks, stopping at a typical picnic area where we will enjoy the local cuisine.

Tuesday
Day 3
Route: Granada – Pozo Alcón [Jaén] > KM: 230

We leave the northern part of Granada to enter the province of Jaén, the town of Pozo Alcón located next to the La Bolera reservoir and south of the Natural Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, between two landscapes that combine the greenery of the mountains with the dryness of the lowlands that border Granada.

Savor authentic liquid gold: Olive oil aromatizes the cuisine of Jaén and makes its dishes healthy. In this small town we can taste their Segureño lamb and their typical sausages.

Wednesday
Day 4
Route: Pozo Alcón [Jaén] – Garrucha [Almería] > KM: 220

Passing from the nature of the mountains to the coast of Almeria we arrive at Garrucha, between Vera and Mojacar. Its famous red shrimp is caught in the fishing grounds of the maritime district of Garrucha.

Thursday
Day 5
Route: Garrucha [Almería] -Guadix [Granada] > KM: 250

Guadix is located on the north face of Sierra Nevada in a place known as "Hoya de Guadix" and is one of the oldest settlements in Spain.

Among other monuments, the most outstanding is that of the Cathedral of the Encarnación, one of the most important in the country, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1931.

Another is the Alcazaba of Guadix and its famous cave houses, where we will have the opportunity to stay to live this unique experience in the world.

Guadix is a historic and monumental city. It combines the past and the present, often locked in an equal struggle. Even today, the city maintains architectural, urban and historical features where tourists can feel the imprint of Roman, Jewish, Arab and Castilian cultures.

As for its gastronomy, it is very rich and elaborate, either in part because of the mixture of cultures that have occurred in the city throughout history, as well as the convents of nuns that popularized the elaboration of sweets and desserts.

The most typical dishes are the loin of orza, the crumbs of bread, the potatoes to the poor, the talvinas, the choto in garlic, the paprika with sardines. Special mention have the wines of the region. Something sweet to finish, the egg custard, fried rocos, rice pudding, bacon de cielo and peach which is very popular in the area.

Tonight we will sleep in a typical cave house of the area.

Friday
